Our Vision

The Candlewood Lake Authority is dedicated to the safekeeping of Candlewood Lake, Connecticut’s largest lake. We promote responsible recreation, conservation, and stewardship while working with stakeholders including owner FirstLight Power Company, federal permittee FERC, the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP), and local officials, businesses, and residents to advocate for the lake.
