Each May, the CLA organizes an annual shoreline clean up of the lake. The Candlewood Lake Clean Up started in 1999 and owes much of its early success to two individuals, John Marsicano and Frank Cioffi. These two volunteers dedicated their time and energy to ensure that Candlewood Lake would remain clean and free of accumulating trash and debris by organizing the Clean Up and the hundreds of volunteers who helped clean up trash each year. We fondly remember John and Frank who meant so much to the CLA, Candlewood Lake and of course the Annual Candlewood Lake Clean Up.
