Candlewood Lake Shoreline Management Plan Review/Comment Period Open

Did you know that the Shoreline Management Plan (SMP), FirstLight's document that dictates how they manage the shoreline around Candlewood, is up for review with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC)?

This is the document that regulates how FirstLight protects the shoreline around Candlewood Lake, and manages the permitting and fee process for work homeowner's apply to do below the Project Boundary.

To review the changes:

1) The Current SMP (Approved in 2019)

2) The proposed SMP (Not yet Approved by FERC)

3) A summary of the changes, written by FirstLight

4) The CLA's Comments on the proposed SMP, submitted to FirstLight

If you'd like to submit your comments, which FirstLight will respond to and which will be included in the final filing to FERC you can:
